I've tried searching the forum, but I can't find what I'm looking for. Does anybody have a Pit Bull front stand and a xb12scg? I'm wondering if the pin (in the picture below) is suppose to be fully seated before I attempt to lift the bike...as of now, there's a slight gap.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick

Nick, it should be fully seated, but if you have most of it in and cannot move it any further, when you raise the bike it will move in the rest of the way. If it doesn't I wouldn't worry about it as long as it seems stable.

I don't have one anymore, so I haven't used one on my Buell. I did use one on my last bike and I wasn't sure if it was right when I had it because it didn't seem like the pin was really held solid, but turns out it was right, and it gets held in place when the weight of the bike is actually on it. It goes in at a slight angle so that everything actually wedges tight together, if that makes sense.

Haha, the pin can fit in the stand two ways...I had to spin it around 180 degrees.

As I mentioned before, I was in the middle of watching my team piss away the game when I decided to try out the new stand.

Hmm, I have the stand and never thought twice about it being able to be loaded incorrectly

I figured it would be the same no matter how the pin is installed on the stand, but spinning it around 180 degrees solved my issue.

5 year throw back. Remember someone here that suggested another size pin, than the one referenced from pit bull for the front triple on the scg?? Anyone know any different than a #3 pin?
