Anyone help me out with the factory recommended settings for the stt suspension as listed in your owners manual? I just purchased a stt rear shock to lower my Ulysses. Everything I've read says it's .75 inches shorter than my stock X and that the valving is similar, but want to make sure I get the preload dampening and rebound right.

oh9bolt, had the chart and was going to post it but it is only a screen shot from paper I believe that I have. Was this from the owners manual? PDF form? If it was I'd love to grab the whole thing if you can host it please.

Buellybagger, what did you do for the front suspension? Just lower the triple clamps on your stock fork tubes? Or riding it "chopper" style?

did 'er chopper style. Really no noticeable difference in turn in, these bikes turn in so damn easy anyway. Can't really tell by looking at it that the rear is lowered either. thought maybe the extra "rake" would add to high speed stability (in a straight line at least). I dont have to tip toe quite as bad so I'm happy. Bikes been like that 3 years now with no probs.

here's a walk around of the bike...
