XB9R 2003 ECM help.

I started to have intermittent headlight issues. Then they stopped working altogether (work but once running they cut out). fues and globes fine, some corrosion on the clips so i am onto that. Pulled the front apart and have removed a spyball alarm system that had been disabled and "half" removed when i purchased it from the dealer,they had no idea what the fob on the key ring was for. end ramble..
The only wire that was cut and not wired into the the alarm is the yellow or no 8 on the grey plug.....but wait a min,in the manual this is the "vehicle speed sensor". I replaced the sender 3 mths ago cos the thing crapped out mid ride (on a double points weekend.lol) but the tacho is displaying the speed correct as i run a gps as well so all good there. Aftermarket pipe on but it came from dealer with stock xb9r pipe, prob put on for aus retarded bike and pipe laws so the dealer could register it. But there was no servo or wires for the servo on the exhaust like my mates 12s. no stand or clutch interlocks either!
wtf am i missing.
Got the 1125r back on the road from track work so no rush. Cheers

your post is titled "ecm help" but commences with "intermittent headlight issues". ?????
if headlight issues simply check the main supply plug behind firebolt fairing. it will be either orange/white/yellow/black OR teal/white/yellow/black. teal or orange is power...white high beam supply...yellow low beam supply....black is ground. start there.
