I'm planning on punching my heads while I have them off due to bad rings and rocker gasket leaking. I need some advice from you buell veterans on optimal displacement I should shoot for and what pistons have you guys used or would recommend. The little research I've done is showing 10:5.1 compression is good with these motors? How much would you need to bore your cylinders to reach that? My motor guy will be freed up in 3 weeks so I would like to get pistons and gasket kit ordered and ready. Your expert advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Bore had nothing to do with compression. Check out nrhsperformance.com as well as hammerperf.com
