xb9s timing cover question

My bike is missing the cosmetic timing cover just leaving the metal plate with the two screw holes visible. I was thinking of picking this up..

My question is what size screws do I need to purchase? Site says 10-32 but I am having a hard time locating those. Thanks dudes

10-32 shouldnt be that hard to find. its a common size. where are you looking? Home depot or lowes should have them. If you have a fastenal nearby they definitely will. Or you can always order them online.

you also need a 10-32 tap

You'll also need to tap (10-32) the two rivet holes that your old cover attached to.

Ok...what an ordeal this missing timing cover has become. Looks like I have some work to do!

comes with the tap and everything. my timing cover vibrated itself off awhile ago cuz i ignore it being loose and i hadnt replaced it yet. i bought a stock replacement cover because i think the carbon stuff looks hella tacky, but the above kit works well, not sure if you can buy it all cheaper or not at home depot, didnt bother to check.

Thanks for the heads up on that..i will check both places and compare. Where did you get a tock timing cover from? I cant seem to find a stock one for sale

unfortunatly i had to go to the HD dealership. Im lucky though because two of the dealerships in San Diego are actually pretty cool and like buells a lot. the part rain me like 5 or 6 bucks. when they look it up in the parts book it looks like its just a plain cover, but it actually does have the emblem and what not on it.
