XBR tire hugger on an XB

I'm looking to put a rear tire hugger on my XB12Ss. I found one on ebay from an 09 12R

Will a 12R fit my 12Ss. I want a tire hugger but not the belt guards. If it won't fit does anyone have any suggestion to get one that does.

I'm not sure of the breakdown, but they changed a bit over the model years. Don't think it matters R vs. S (Scg, Ss etc)?

I do know that the Ss swing arm is longer than the standard(r and s)

i would imagine that it would NOT fit with out some fabrication.

The SS one is different than the rest but there are some aftermarket companies that make some nice ones for the SS. The shock mount is further back on the swingarm so it has a bigger cut out on the fender and the fender is longer.

Try this one its from a German company and I am 99.9% positive this is for the SS but check with the company to be sure. Most German companies speak english they learn it in the fourth grade as a second language so you should be good!
