I saw a cool looking coat on the leatherup.com banner and it was an Xelement. Does anyone have any experience with this brand, are they any good for street use?

I picked up a set of chaps from leatherup last year and sent them back because they were not the quality I was looking for. Cheap zippers, and pretty low quality leather. I will say leatherup has excellent customer service, they took them back no questions asked and I am pretty sure they picked up the shipping both ways. Just my 2 cents.

That is what my jacket is. I would not buy another one of their products. I still use the jacket, but its quality is not so great.

I have the cortech knock off jacket from them. I agree the quality is lacking but its not horrible. Ironically I have an Icon jacket that is twice the cost and maybe half the protection.

i have this one (link). i bought it because the model looked so damn cool!!!:D i havent had any problems with it and wore it all winter. it has a zip out liner and is pretty warm. was also in a crash with it and it held up pretty well.

I have this one and it fits great, has a good amount of protection too, warm-ish, the jacket liner was a joke so i just throw on a sweatshirt under

this is what i have. pretty nice for the price. its warm, but the leather on it seems thin and possibly not real. overall i like it.this

I picked out a piar of textile pants with knee armor and hip pads by them and if i had to do it all over again i wouldnt. compared to other brands the price seemed great but when i got them i had to alter them to make them fit. Im pretty sure i could fit my helmet in each pant leg, no joke! RT helpped me add some snapps to the bottom of the legs so i can just fold the excess material in and snap it closed.

Also the knee pads are in different spots on each leg and when im on the bike they end up on the inside of my knee closest to the frame of my bike. I keep meaning to change that but always forget. and like others said the quality of them wasnt really what i was hoping for. But u get what you pay for. i got mine off an ebay store so i didnt want to go thru the hassel of sending them back but still i dont think i would try that brand again.

Update: I did't end up get the Xelement jacket went with this Alpinestars leather jacket from jakewilson.com closeout $149
