good book for tuners

I have been reading a book called
"How to tune and Modify engine managment systems by Jeff hartman".tought I should share this with the rest of the buell community.I am a little lost with efi systems and their tuning so I picked up this book to learn more about it,turns out that automotive and motorcycle systems are very close in operation and tuning and this book goes in good depth if someone want to learn more about it.I'm not a friend of the author or nothing just a guy who want to learn.check it out if you're unshure about tuning your Buell.

Haven't seen the book....but good post.

I learned on my own.
I've got both an 05, XB12S (had an XB12R) and an 1125CR. Obviously both need help in the ECM department, with the 1125 being really bad.

Knowing what an engine wants, be it carbureted or injected, helps greatly, but it still took me quite a while to figure out where and how much to modify.

Even still, I've got the XB running well in most all areas, but I still have some low speed "situations" with the CR.
Unlike most seem to...I'm tuning for low, mid and high rpm steady throttle, light , medium and hard acceleration. It takes a while to get it all worked out with just a butt dyno.
And for all that work, it takes a LOT of time and a VERY good dyno operator....

What I've saved in dyno time money, I've spent in frustrating evenings looking at the computer screen....!

The good side...I've learned a lot.
