Hey Everyone,

I'm wanting to run a D&D with the open airbox/breather reroute on my 05 XB12scg.

What is the best way to go on my ECM? Race ECM ...or remap...and what map?

Thanks for your input!!!:D

i had all that on my xb12r and it was good i had the race map re maped,it was a headace for me so i wish i bought a race ecm ,but if your into computers re map it the guy who did it made it looke easy. i ended up swithing to a buell race pipe because of the sound and it turned out to be all around faster and better running.

Race map should get you close to where you want to be. However a remap will give you the most hp and can also result in a much cooler running motor. Go to americansportbike.com. They did a test on the D&D with the open airbox and you will be able to see what AFV's you will have if you run with the race ecm vs a tuned map.

Got a Race ECM already on my bike!!! I'm running a factory Race can. I know the D&D has less Hp, but that growl is so nice!

Thanks for the help!!!:D

sweet sound super fat midrange but lots of volume too

HP doesnt suffer that much either, I put 90 to the tire with a D&D on my 2003 XB9
