Anyone with the carbon jardine can ever take theirs apart, ive got myne of and want to know if I need to remove the rivets from just one end or both, thanks

Whilr you have it off you might as well relace it with somthing thats not going to fall apart. But since that is most likley not your goal......I would start by just removing one end.

well I actually wan to make my own exhaust, ive got an idea in my head and i have a nice tig welder in my garage so I might just make my own

You only need to take one end off, but i agree with freak2180 and if you have the ability i would make you own.

just took it apart and there was only a handfull of packing in it, the bike only has 8,500 miles and i think the pipe was put on at about 4,000. the can has a hot spot and most of it is browning bad

they are hit or miss really. some seem to be very good quality and some just suck. My friend has had his on his lightning for 15k miles roughly and had no issues and we just did a repack a little over a month ago. I have had two and after my second one rattled apart and i was only a ride or two away from running the muffler over i changed my mind on Jardine.

Love my Jardine... if you are going to do a repack and put it back together then change all of the rivets... buying a repack kit will give you all of the replacement rivets... takes bout 30 mins total
