Hide away? Under seat tool kit? License plate hide away?

The link takes me to an eBay auction for a motorcycle cover WTF? Am I in the TwIllIgHt ZoNe or something?[confused]

I THINK he is talking about the flip up hinged deal that hides your license plate. I see them a lot here in Miami on the ricers that run the sunpass tolls. Those are illegal and can get your bike impounded and yourself arrested.

guess i'm lost too, do mean have the license plate flat under the rear of the seat frame area, or some james bond thing that hides your license plate from view when you hit some switch or what??
post a pic of what mean . or a link to one.

is it one of these?

or this , if so this would more than likely be VERY ILLEGAL and remember you CAN NOT out run the radio, and they send out the desription of you & your bike and plate number if they get it, and most police & highway patrols have dash cameras in the vehicles. if you run and they get your plate number they will just be waiting for you at your house.

We just did this about 2 weeks ago, I don't remember the title of the post though. You'll have to make sure you get it mounted just right. The SCGs have limited space under the tail for a plate. A few around here have seen plates hit back tires if the rear suspension compresses too far. That's why I put mine up flat against the undertail.
