Ok I would like to know what kind of mileage all the old tuber Buells get on gas mileage. And maybe this might be helpful to some others here also. I have wondered this a few times, and we have a thread for the XB's mileage and now one for the 1125 (R & CR). why not for the tubers, If there is one already I couldn't find it, if so post me a link to it.
anyways please list the year, model, engine size & how many miles /Kilometers on the odometer on your BUELL, & all mods of your tuber Buell and the mileage you get along with the average your get on the fuel reserve or fuel light on. and any other info on your buell want to list .

Buell XB Mileage

Buell mileage 1125R & 1125CR

'99 X1 here. 5800 miles.
Engine mods: Open Air Filter / Supertrapp Muffler / Race Map

I average 50 mpg... this is mostly back road riding.
I have never had a fuel light go on, i always fill up by 160-170 miles.....

2000 X1 10,000 miles
Engine mods:Thunderstorm heads, lightened valve train, cams, fuel injection, race maps, forcewinder, vance and hines full exhaust.

I average about 65 mpg running mostly 80 mph with a about 8 stops and goes on the way to work. Thats pushing for the fuel light to come on at about 190-200. i dont know how she does it but its way better gas fuel mileage than my jeep!

I've got a buddy with an S3T that was forced to run at 65mph due to weather/roads/police condtions on the slab last summer - 65mpg he swears.

Bad fuel issued here in Washington State. Using fuel stabalizer to keep from sputtering. Trip from Indio, CA to Olympia, WA over 3 days (1250 miles) averaged 51mpg. Now that the fuel issue has been fixed, I am running a tank now and should get a better outcome.

1999 X1 Carbon Fiber #195 of 250. Just did turn over 30,000 miles. Race ecm, Custom headers by Mitch Bergeron in Palm Desert, CA (wraped), Vance and Hines muffler, K&N oval filter w/CF cover, Accel custom spark wires.

1998 S3 just shy of 15,000
engine mods; Buell pro air cleaner kit, wraped header,D&D slipon, carb rejetted.

I average around 40-50mpg depending how hard I push it.

With the tank filled I get about 180 miles before reserve never ran it completely out.

2000 X1 23,000
Mods: Thunderstorm heads, Force Exhaust, Buell pro air cleaner, custom map

I've been getting between 40-50 MPG's depending on city/highway.

2002 S3T w/72,XXX miles. Daily rider as I don't own a cage. Was told the top end was rebuilt......one of the best m/c's I have ever owned. I get close to 200 miles/tank before the idiot light illuminates.......and I ride pretty hard.[cool]

1998 S3 15,000 miles , D&D muffler,Buell pro header,K&N filter,rejetted carb. I get around 40-50 mpgs depending how i use the right grip.

1999 M2, K&N forcewinder intake, V&H muffler, 22,XXX. I average about 40 mpg because I routinely ride to/from work which is only a few miles, and when I do get out in the open I'm fairly abusive to that right grip ;)

I get about 45 with bags on my s3t and about 50 without. This is with the deep bags, I wish I had narrows too. Aside from bmw thumpers its hard to beat the mileage and keep loaded intersate power. Very happy bueller here.
