Got tired of the blue on the bike and decided to get together with a friend of mine that owns a vinyl wrap shop and made up a pretty neat wrap for the Buell. Took about15 hours of creating and wrapping this is what we got. I love how it came out. Lol, and no, the cheese grater stays. Opinions? Questions?

I like it - looks great!

Do you know how well it will stand up to the weather and being washed? I heard a couple of years, but not sure.
 
We were thinking of doing the flyscreen, but since I just got the carbon one, I figured I would throw that one on there and see how it goes, lol. My buddy wants to redo the stock flyscreen too. It's coming in time. Johnny, according to my friend, he says it can last up to 5 year or so. Stands up well with washes as long as I stick with a clean cloth or sponge. The laminate he used is pretty durable, but we are planning a new design for next year. This was just a trial. =) Thanks for the input guys!
 
Vinyl wrap! Great idea! It looks awesome and your not stuck with it. How do you take it off when you want a change??
 
5 years isn't too bad. Seen people do their cars on a forum I belong to - haven't seen one in person (that I know of).

How much do you think your friend would charge for a kit?
 
I'm not too sure. I wouldn't suggest you install it yourself unless you have some pretty good skills lol. They can be really trying to install and take lots of patience and time. But I will ask him and let ya know.

Jdbuell, When you wanna change it, just heat it up with a heat gun and peel it off! Done! lol. Really economical means of having something different and not spending a whole ton of cash.
 
freaking sick! didnt like until i scrolled down and saw the detail. totally wicked design, however, gotta agree the windscreen needs to match. ill trade your carbon for my stock black canvas [smirk]
 
Thanks Pinball! I'm gonna run the carbon one for now and may sell it at the end of this spring. Depends on how I feel about it after using it for a while lol.
