So I had my 1125r for a week today. Love the bike, but there are a few things need to be addressed. My previous bike was a xb9r firebolt and riding the 1125r I noticed the suspension being extra soft right away. Especially with a passanger on the back it sags quiate a bit on the back. Also at high speeds this thing floats like a cadilac, not really the performance I am excpecting from a sport bike. I dont have a manual yet, and the bike is all stock. If someone could give me a step by step on the suspension adjustment I would really appreciate it.
Btw its a 2008 1125r.
Thanks a lot.

The obvious question is about the person behind the handlebars.........kant help without this info..!

You are -

height =
weight =
passenger weight =
This should be sorta obvious...crank up the real preload..!

Just start stiffening things up..! To get close, this isn't that difficult.Just be sure to make both forks the same, in all respects.

Start with the suspension in the center of all adjustments. You don't need a book for this one.

Be advised, if you are light, and you ride with and without a passenger...you will have to readjust when that extra person is with you vs. staying at home..
But since we don't know your weight...

Lol ur right my bad.
I am 5'9" @ 185 lb and the passanger is around 130.
Do I start in the back and work my way up front? Also there are 2 adjusters on the forks one on top and one on the bottom...what's the diference?
Thanks

RaceTech offers springs for the rear...but DO NOT buy their springs for the forks!!! They turn the forks into solid struts and their "technical staff" doesn't know $h!t about how to fix. EBR & Ohlins offer drop in cartridges...start at $1400.00 w/o any seals, oil, or labor... so be prepared.I'm 6'1" 285 so with front 1/4 turn from full hard it still dives and nearly bottoms out in hard decel for.turns (like at Deals Gap). I went to 20 weight oil and it helped, but I'll be spending the $$$ for cartridges soon. Good luck!

The owners manual has basic suspension settings in it. The owners manual if you don't have one can be found online in a PDF format. This may help until you receive your order.
