I got a 99x1 runs great but slow as shit I had a gs500 keeping up with me todoay
and I ride it hard.wat up with a nitrous or turbo kit
 
You don't want a TURDO ! They poop out to fast , they're crap ! GET IT ? :p

haha, yeah I was gonna say that maybe your bike already has a turdo and that's why it's slow as shit.

What kind of roads were you on? If you were on twisty back roads it's no surprise a gs500 could keep up with you. Those bikes handle really well in the right environment.
