I read the owners manual and tried to adjust the suspension on my bike.(2000 M2) I tried to do it by myself with little to no success. Are there any members near Allentown Pa who would be interested in teaching a newbie???

PM me or post your terms. (compensation, location etc)

im not very familiar with the tuber. but what are you having trouble with specifically. if you post the instructions someone may be able to help.

I tried to set the ride height (pre-load) but couldn't get an accurate measurement sitting on the bike at the same time.

I'm pretty sure I understand the process just not 100% sure I am making the right adjustments....

I do know the guy who had the bike before me weighed almost 2x (350+ lbs) vs what I weigh (195lbs) and he told me he adjusted the suspension to fit him.. so the suspension is a little stiff for me and small bumps in the corners bounce me around....

you can put a ziptie on the fork and shock to measure sag. you just need to be careful getting on and off to make sure you dont overcompress it by coming down too hard on the seat. it is hard to set sag by yourself though. not easy to get the bike upright and into a riding position without tipping over. hopefully some pa buellers will chime in. free bump anyway.
