Hey gents,

I was riding up to the good old gas station and as i rolled up i was waiting for a pump to open up. One opened up and i began to roll thw throttle before letting out the clutch and the bike stalled. I didnt let the clutch and gave it a little throttle and it stalled. I have the jardine rt5 on stock ecm and it gives me the goold old CEL for my pipe. Any ideas? Just let me know.

Not quite sure, but it may just have been a fluke somehow. The bike is trying to adjust to the slip on, so maybe it has something to do with that. Im getting the ebr race ecm an a few weeks to get the power and have it running the way it should. But i need my 5k mile maintenance and tires done first!

my xb does this sometimes always when its hot out and low on fuel.its happended 3 times this summer

if yours is doing it when it's hot out and low on fuel it's probably overheating the pump

I refil every 50 miles, sometimes earlier. It was kinda hot, but i literally just warmed up the bike and rode about 1 mile to the station. Only mods are jardine rt5 slipon. Stock everything else. Thanks for the responses guys!

Mine used to do this too, get sandpaper and sand down the grounds on the frame and make sure they are really tight. Also It helped alot when I raised my idle to about 1000 rpms.

If '07-earlier, it's behind your LH airscoop (see pic below). If '08-Later it's in the ECM & not user-adjustable.
