ok so i have a 03 xb9r with a little over 5k miles. my clutch lever had alot of play in it and needed to be adjusted. i loosened the adjuster cable and took off the clutch inspection cover and oil came out. is oil supposed to come out of the cover when removed? i'm pretty new to this bike.

Was your bike on the kick stand? It needs to level when removing the cover. If not yeah oil will spill out.

Oh wow really.. Well im sorry for waisting your time. Looks like i'll have to drop in a little more oil in primary now.
