My S3 shakes more than my XB9, below 3000 rpm. Do tubers shake more than XB's? Do 12's shake more than 9's? All the rubber mounts look good on both bikes, but the XB just seems more civilized. Should I be concerned?

XB9: '06, Hawk, K&N, race maps
S3: '99, White Bros., Forewinder, Buell race ECM

I couldn't compare to an xb but my x1 walks backwards on the side stand at idle. Its fairly rough below 3k as well. Unless it is so bad your hands go numb i am pretty sure its the nature of the beast.

Thanks. I figured it might be just a combination of the longer stroke and a somewhat less refined engine/mount/frame design. Still, the S3 is so much more comfortable on longer rides.

Your bike is fine if all the areas check out.The Tubers are somewhat more rigid so they shake rattle and yes roll left unattended idling. Just make sure to check the Kick stand once a month to make sure the bolts don't ease out.*Jimi
