I think it's the thrust washer that's inside the primary behind the clutch basket. Yeah? As my username suggests, this will probably be the first of many posts. HA!

I think your right but I dont have my book anymore. Did you download the PDF service manual off the other buell site?
 
It sits on top the kinibler valve, next to the blinker fluid reservoir......:D
 
Yeeeeup, it's certainly the doohickey disk. Now I've gotta tighten the muffler bearings and make sure the rotary girder is within spec!
