Damnnnnnnnn! That's what I said out loud when I saw this. I expected to see something more like this when I quickly read the subject title.

It's hard to tell all of those pieces are of the piston. The funny thing is there is a piece of the top of the piston that's chiped too.
So it could have been over revved. Valve to piston then piston blew its skirt. But needless to say its a boat anchor now.
