Don't know if there is a post on this or not, sorry if there is but I am looking to get a press for future work on my bike, was just wondering what would be a good size, they have a small one at Harbor Freight for about $40.00,will it work for things such as the crankcases and such, opinions welcome.:)

That thing looks like a pile of crap. Dake arbor presses are what you should be looking for if you want something you can rely on.

Looks don't necessarily mean the press is junk. Look for bad castings and alignmnet. I found the items made in Taiwan offerred by HF are of a better quality than the main line PRC stuff. Any press needs to meet the requirements of the job, look them over closely and caompare and contrast before making a good choice.
Just my 3fitty on the matter.
