Not to be an ass, but I suggest saving more money. I like my Shoei RF1100. Of course, if you need one immediately I understand that.

Bell Revolver, full certs, Modular, drop down Sun Shield, right at 100 from Leatherup.com

My next one will be a shoei RF1100 because of how quiet it is and how comfortable it is. But you could also look at a scorpion. Theyre good helmet for that price range.

Try on a few at cycle gear or your nearest dealer.then go online and spend some money.I found an icon alliance for $80 new on clearance.

I currently wear a Scorpion exo-700, got it on sale for ~$140. You can also get the exo-400, which is basically the same helmet but with different venting.

I highly recommend the Scorpion for a more budget friendly price - but as always, you should try them on at the store for fit.

The Shoei RF1100 is both quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately, it is a little spendy. I think I paid around $440. There are lots of other options in between. Unless you find a good clearance, I would spend more for a better helmet.

I just saw a Bell C-Note on eBay for like $150. It's a $650 helmet brand new and are becoming hard to find. It's a Bell Star, their top of the line product.

I really enjoy my new Caberg Ego, but had to order it from UK...$224. Like others, save more money and get a better helmet.

Here's one that looks to offer some additional protection while managing to keep the air flow

From what I've seen shopping around, I'm gonna take that ass's advice and double my estimate to $200. That gives me a lot more options and better quality. I stopped by the local cycle world and tried on a bunch of Scorpion but even the 2XL was tight on my huge melon. The ICON Alliance was pretty sweet, and seemed like a lot of helmet for $169. Prolly gonna pick one up.

My old alliance and new hooligan.nice thing was that the shields are interchangeable.I have funky sized big dome.cheek pad and liners are usually on sale.
