Sorry can't help, but this has been posted before with almost the exact same scenario.

Check the fuses first, then get a tube of dielectric grease, unplug, dry, grease and replug connectors, one by one (ECM, coil, plug wires, etc.)

When I first got my S3, I solved several spurious trouble codes and an intermittent miss, by simply cleaning, (dielectric) greasing and re-seating the ECM connectors.

+1000 on the dielectric greasing of the connectors, my dads x1 had similar issues till he did this.

easter sunday, and happey b-day to me too. bike still dont run. crank and just barely crack throttel and she fires and runs for about 2-3 seconds.. try and open throttle when she fires and it dies. wont know the fuel press untill tomarrow night when i get guages from work. ive taken apart every connector i can get to and cant find any moisture in anything!?!?!? the bikes been running great this spring, till she got a bath!1 DAMN IT

goat thought of that and dumped it and put about two gallons of fresh 92 octane in her.. thanks for the thought though.

With all of those trouble codes at once, it almost has to be an electrical/ECM problem. I would still bet you it is the gray plug on the ECM.

just got a buddies fuel pressure tester this morning, checked pressure and.. when you turn on the key it goes from 0 up to about 10 psi. when pump stops, after the first 2-3 sec. pressure drops to 0. turn key on let press. build to about 10 psi, and crank over press drops to about 2-4 psi. bad pump??

thanks for the help from all who posted

The manual gives three suggestions for low fuel pressure:
1) clogged pickup screen at pump
2) poor connection (low voltage to pump)
3) bad pump

Good luck :[up]

pulled fuel pump this morning, put it in a bucket with gas. then i hot wired the pump and the regulator is leaking a stream of gas. so i ordered a new regulator.

i hope this is the cure for my woes

Good to hear! Its funny sometimes you would think your problem is related to something youve done and winds up being unrelated. Im gonna go ahead and give you a rep point .
