Looking forward to watching this new series on Discovery Channel. Same producer for American Hot Rod, Biker Build-off, and Monster Garage.

put the remote down and walk away....
I'll not tell anyone you made this post.[up]

seriously it does look like it might be worth viewing. I caught one of the commercials the other night as well.

That's ok, I'll own it! (you know you will be watching!:p)

This show is ridiculously fake. Anyone watch tonight's season premier? It's completely set-up, staged, and flat out embarrassing. Any respected m/c would clown these dudes. Surely they're actors?

I watched your video, never heard of this show until now. It looks stupid, you confirmed it is.

So ima start a MC called the "Anti motorcycle club Club" and i seriously mean this, wanna make shits as well. Anyone in?

thats what i thought last year after 5 mins of watching it.

yea its ridiculous. I watch it for a good laugh sometimes.

I like the guy that was pointing out all the skulls on his bike. I was thinking "Watch out, we got a badass over here" look at all those skulls..that bike is custom.

Ya it has already been on for awhile. In the beginning it looked pretty real and the further the series went on the cheesier and more fake it became. The new season should be flat out stupid.

It's pretty bad. My girlfriend's biological father is one of the main characters on it, and the series is definitely commercialized to appeal to the average TV viewer. Might be able to wiggle myself and a Buell into it next season though.

if you do make sure its of you beating every one of them off the line and/or around a corner. Dont shame the brand.

I want to see something about how that punk buell rider disrespected us by passing all of them. They will talk about how they want to beat you up but they are all too slow to even catch you.

He actually likes me and my bike! Ironically when I changed from an XB9 to a 12, I became eligible to join American MCs, since they generally require Harleys 1200CCss and larger...

I'm trying to find a behind the scenes part. She filmed a bunch for the first season when she had her 250, but I guess it got cut since it wasn't enough clubbing and fighting.

typical of all TV 'programming'
scripted dialogue, scenes etc, etc...

keeping the sheep entertained and dumbing down the masses is the priority, for the most part they have been very successful.

carry on carrying on
:D

Netty, he's not an actor, and the group does actually exist in the LA area. I've seen them around town in San Diego occasionally though.

I can't honestly say too much without breaking confidence, but what I can tell you is that the producers of the show are the ones responsible for the content that you see. I know that he wasn't terribly enthused with how they handled the series, but a paycheck is a paycheck, and it evidently did pretty well commercially.

Found it. They cut it out evidently, but oh well. I'll bring it up the next time I see him and see if I can't get my television debut. I think it'd be hilarious to see a tiny asian riding a Buell with a bunch of cruiser dudes. Also interested to see how they'd cut it up. I assume i'd become the ass hole boyfriend...

A paycheck is a Paycheck? If they are nearly as hardcore as they act, they would not be allowing the filming of their ongoings. I don't see the real MC's doing this. To me it looks like a bunch of wanna be gang bangers, trying to make a buck. I think its a completly ridiculous series and Discovery should be ashamed of this, it ranks right up there with that stupid honey boo boo show. Just my 2 cents!

That was exaclty what I was thinking. Last night for example, they chained up a bike and drug it across a parking lot.......on t.v. Then there was a "meet me by the bike rack" fight in an alley, a cop pulls up and doesn't even get out fo the car. Just tells everyone to get out of there!

It just seems like these guys will lose a lot of respect, if in fact there is any, amongst the m/c community out there for this show, and how it is designed. I don't mean to disrespect, just curious is all.

But as you said, a paycheck is a paycheck.

Honestly in his own words, I was told that Discovery wanted to cash in on the popularity of "Son's of Anarchy." I haven't spent any significant time around them, so I can't tell you if they're just playing it up to be more dramatic and hardcore, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. I'll send you a PM Netty.

In one of the shows last season the LDMC hosted a "Track Day" at the drag strip. The fastest trap speed that I saw was 77MPH!!!!!

I DVR and watch the show for pure comedic value. I'm pretty sure an actual bad ass MC wouldn't allow their exploits to be filmed.
