I smell Gas!

Filled up my tank, rode 80 miles and now its drippin gas out of that tube on the left side. Never noticed that before, any comments appreciated. Thx Dave.

Most likely nothing to worry about, sounds like its the over fill tube. Just don't fill it up above the neck down inside your fill tube.

Did'nt think so but it does't hurt to throw it out there. I would understand if i had just filled it but i rode quite a ways. Thanks for responding.

Seems odd to be coming out of the overflow after 80 miles of riding. I've had mine come out right after a fillup one time before a ride. [confused]

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it starts doing it more fequently

I missed the 80 miles. That does seem a little odd that you see it dripping, but I smell gas every now and then as well, I just don't pay much attention to it.

Mine will do it if it's a little hot. I figure it's fuel vapor condensating in the tube.

I have had mine do it after a fillup but never after riding a few miles and only when I overfill it which has only been a couple of times.

I've noticed that too but i'm sure its just fumes after a ride. When i park mine for the night in the garage and close the door it tends to fill it up with the smell of gas.

I smell Gas!
