So what are you guys using for your bikes to deter thieves? My work wont let me park inside the warehouse anymore and I haven't rode to work since. Really blows cause I love to ride, but I don't want to risk it being stolen. If I had a 9 to 5 job I wouldn't be to worried, but my work can have me working two days straight without returning to the office. So no more rides in until I am comfortable with something.

Product test videos would be cool to if they are available. Thanks guys.[cool]

I'm actually surprised no one has posted. I guess I'm the only paranoid one??[cool]

Thanks for the link o9bolt. Looking more for present opinions on the matter. Thanks again[cool]

Obviously you didnt read one of those threads, the xena is the most common form of theft protection and was posted in almost everyone one of those threads. I dont think anything revolutionary has come out in the past couple months.

You caught me oh9bolt! But seriously thanks for the input. Just wanting to know each personal opinion. Thanks again.

is there anything really solid to chain it to.

Not really anything. There is a big pillar in front of the office, but it's next to the front door. Not sure if they would let me park it there. One of the guys suggested parking it behind the warehouse and attaching it to one of the trailers, but my worry is it would Get dragged off which would suck!!

do they have a legitimate reason for not letting you park it in the warehouse? wheel it in when no one is looking and put a big box with the bottom cut out over top of it. out of sight out of mind, im guessing that the people that said no never spend time in the warehouse. and you can prob pay off the other people with a beer or something.

I just lock my forks and use a disc lock. A cover helps as well "out of sight out of mind". If they don't see it they're less likely to want it. All the security deterrents are just deterrents, if someone really wants it they can get it. If I were you I'd find something out back to chain it to with a heavy duty chain and lock(run the chain through both wheels and frame), lock the forks, put a disc lock on front and rear rotors, and put a cover on it. That's about all you can do.

Something to do with the lease. I really thinks its just jealousy. The warehouse manager is always talking about how he wants one, but never does. He is just a dousche like that just to make up some crap so that I won't bring it. Who knows.

Seems to be the best logical thing. Guess my saddle bags will be used after all.[up][cool]
