Been wanting a buell for awhile, did some looking and researching trying to find one, it wasnt too easy, but i ended up getting a 2004 XB12S in perfect condition with 3448 miles for $3990 delivered to my door through a dealership, how well did i make out with the deal, be brutally honest..

I have the same bike, paid $3400, had to drive 2 hours to pick it up from a private party who had very little info on it. Rattle can paint on the plastics and a horrible home made muffler. Also shortly after, I found out that I have a pretty bad slipping out of 2nd gear issue. Oh, and it has 22,000 miles so I'd say you scored big time. Congratulations! Lets see some pictures!

I just paid 3850 for mine at the beginning of the year, it was a 2004 xb12s with 5k on the odometer but i had to travel 2 hours to get it. I think you did good, now post pictures!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I'm new to the buell scene but im liking every bit of it so far. I'm actually in Afghanistan right now on deployment, but am looking forward to getting home and getting my hands on this bike, here is a pic from the dealership, first things first, it's getting a nice new black paintjob when i get home. Cant figure out how to post pictures on here, but here's a link to the dealerships page. http://www.wowmotorcycles.com/view-bike.aspx?SKU=21026&source=S

i would say a good deal on a very nice bike with very low mileage. if you're happy with it and how you were treated and enjoy the bike then you got an outstanding deal.

I'd say you did well my friend. And like Blue said, welcome to your new obsession. Hope you don't have any other hobbies! If so, you won't for long!

welcome! and nice job on the price! good year/model, low miles! [up] now lets see some pics of that summmbitch!
