heres my xb9SL with blue LEDs on it, i think its pretty slick, i dont know if you fellow buellers enjoy them as much as i do

Mine came with them on it when I bought it used. I dont particularly care for them, but they are very convenient to use as a dome light in the pitch black.

BTW Seth, if you ever want to get rid of that pipe and header I would like to buy it.

Not my type of mod, but nice. It would look better if we did'nt see the actual LEDS tough.

yeah i tried to hid them the best i could thats a pretty low camera shot i took, i was on my knee, if your standing up or riding by you cant see them just the shining light,

i just cleaned it up and made look nice, if you look on my profile pics youll see how crappy it looked before i made look really nice, if i ever want to go back to stock ill let you know blast

I want to add LED's on my xb12r, I’m just concerned about the heat issue especially by the motor, Seth have you had any issues with the lighting

so far so good no problems, i didnt really rely on the stick tape that it came with i figured it would melt with the high heat so i tacked em with some super glue

What do you make? LED lights?

I make waterproof led strips. I have mine right next to my engine and have not a had a single issue.

I do think that LEDs are kind of ricey. However i do a lot of riding at night. And my riding jacket is black, my work pants are black, and my bike has black fairings. So i like to think it gives me a little more visibility

My bike had blue ones installed by the first owner. I haven't taken them off but I don't use them either because I heard they may be illegal. Anyone know anything about that?
