05 XB12 in NC

I bought this bike less than six months ago off this forum from zacchampion. You can search his post to find pics and info. I think he rode bike on road courses. Ive put about 1000 miles on bike since ive owned it. As soon as I got it had 10,000 mile service completed it was little overdue. Recently has started havin shifting issues when it gets hot from 1st , 2nd and sometimes third. Pulled primary clutches are good. Gonna split cases to fix tranny problem its at shop now. I love this bike dont wanna sell but I have another I would like to work on. Price $4000 9102582086

I'm curious if you have solved the shifting problem and what it was. Sounds like the same problem I'm having. Mine will delay then the clutch feels like it just grabs suddenly but only does it in 2nd right now. Is that similar to what you were experiencing? I'd like to fix it but mine is my daily rider and I haven't got a clue what it is and would like to have an idea what to look for since you are the only person I've seen with something similar.

Shop is going to start on bike this week. I have no idea whats wront yet. Bad thing is cases have to be split to access tranny. Ill let u guys know what was wrong. I hoping shift drum or forks and not gears.

Ok guys. Finally know the problem shift drum is bad. Replacing that and all gears just to be on the safe side. Bike will be able for showing or test rides in two weeks
