I have a 99 x1 and the check engine light turns on and the bike runs like crap. Then after a few seconds it turns off and the bike runs good. Then a few min later light and crap again, so on and so on. I know it could be so many things i wont ask for suggestions (yet). i would like to know which two pins you jump to get the code. I know its 1 and 2 but there r 4 pins in the harness and i dont want to do the wrong ones. Also do they even offer a somthing to read the code (or jumps the pins for you) like the old obds? i know about emsspy but dont have the time or money to order the cable and learn to use the program. I want to ride the bike.
