Would like to know if anybody knows what size/type of screws go into the timing cover that secures it. Changed the cover, then bought another that I want to put on but I lost the original screws. Help! The manual just says screws.

did you look at the parts catalog? in the back of it, by P/N will give you dimensions for most of the hardware, don't have my catalog at the moment to verify if it's listed...1/4-20 is too large for the application, that much I do know

if you're talking of the gear cover, then yes a 1/4-20 bolts

cam position sensor, 2 screws... P/N: 1601, #8-32x 1/2, pozidriv flat hd., zinc

cover for the cam position sensor used rivets, but you can replace them with stainless steel, sheet metal screws

Thanks for all the info guys. I might take you up on that Paul, Im going to Harley today for touch up paint and will see if they have those screws laying around. If not I will send you a pm

Or.. you can get a set of our case sliders and we'll send you new ones...just sayin' ;)

Seriously though...glad you got it figured out.
