hey guys,
been reading some older threads in regards to 1125 and older year airbox covers and how they don't have the mesh vent at the gas cap but the later xb's did. I am thinking of picking up a used cover in another color but my bike has the vent and per what I have read here, it needs it due to frame design for added fuel capacity where the older xb's and 1125's had a place in the frame for venting to the intake.
my question is this, would drilling some small holes in the plastic around that area be enough to work to get air to the intake ok on my 07 xb.
