Hye guy I am having trouble setting my suspension on my 05 xb12s. I have the manual and everything just dont quit understand the procedure to set it. Is they are diy somwhere. I guess im just hesitant on changing it and messing it up. A video of how to do it would be awesome. Thanks in advance for any tips

A good starting point (it should be relatively the same for the XB):

But the manual is pretty straight forward and I'm not a super mechanic so if you're having a challenge you may want to just take it to a shop to set it for you. Better to be safe, than sorry....

That video helped a lot! Thanks! I'm not really having a challenge but I like to see a video of exactly what is being done just to make sure. I appreciate it a lot! thanks

I got it all set today! Rides like a dream! Must have been alot heavier guy before me!

I was just looking for a post like this.Thanks. Ever since I've gotten new forks, the front hasn't been the same, it feels more loose.

Thats a great video! But I dont have a manual to go by for my 2009 xb12ss. Can anyone list some settings for single rider 190 to 200 lbs?
I mention this because my front shocks seam very soft.. like it dives very easy when i apply the front brake. I need to fix this.

Nice work! It's one of the biggest ironies in the sportbike world: we demand the manufacturers give us more & more suspension adjustability, then so many of us totally neglect to ever dial it in properly. We'll then spend hundreds, or thousands, of dollars on tires, dampers, & other farkles trying to make it 'handle better', but we've overlooked the simplest, most effective, thing we can do!

Yeah no kidding! ^ The suspension on mine was so stiff. I only weight about 130lbs so It needed some major adjusting haha
