Ronin 47 1125

The owner of Beach Moto Clothing off Venice Blvd in CA has his on the floor inside the store. Took some photos and it looks nice. But the sales person there had mentioned the owner saying that it doesn't handle that well, something about the way the front forks are made, geometry and such. Dunno.

Not sure if it's still there.

Cheers!

noah joseph plagiarized that entire article from a recent Cycle World article on those bikes. Cycle World described the handling as abysmal. pretty much sums up the bike.

I don't disagree with the designer that the 1125r seems to have some formal inconsistencies in the bodywork that interrupt the visual appeal of the frame & swing-arm. But in his efforts to 'correct' this aesthetic problem, he's created some pretty clunky engineering. I'd be curious to know how the front unsprung weight compares to stock with that girder fork & radiator set-up? I'm also wondering how much the turning radius is compromised by the cooling plumbing?

already ripped that guy about helping HD kill Buell motorcycles, 47 less on the road, he claims to have put what parts he removes back out on the market. it's not worth 38k...[down][down][down][down][down][down][down][down] he has destroyed those bikes in creating the Ronin 47. what a waste of 47 CR/R 1125's.

they did make the extra parts available - posted here and bwb. I picked up a TON of new take offs for my cr during that sale. They were actually good to deal with too - threw in some extra parts for free when I reached out to them with some odds and ends.
