  • Hey Evan,

I run the stock ECM, unfortunately. It runs okay as-is, though—just a bit of popping if I punch down a gear while high on the tach, but not an obnoxious backfire. Just a few tasteful hiccups. I don't have any dead spots or trouble running it on the stock mapping, but it could sure use a little more of the go juice. Your EBR unit will work much better.

I did it for the sound: in stock form it's much faster than I ever need it to be. It sure sounds great for free! Job well done, post some pics!

Sup jeepinB ? I just finished my jeepinB exhaust mod and is back on bike.havnt takin it out yet as I'm waiting on new rear rotor. Couple questions.....ecu? The one I have on now is the ebr mapped for stock exhaust and k&n. And I do still have stock as well. What are you using on yours? With the mod is there any decel popping or any other issues at all? I love the way it sounds... Hell of a lot better than stock and free is always cheaper than.....well any amount .
    Thanks for the push,
    Evan.
