    Ill second the "are battery terms tite?" After getting mine back from the dealer in the past I had the a very similar issue. Had to pull over because it was running so badly. Positive term ended up being loose. On-Board toolkit for the win!

    Cant find screws for chin fairing.... help?

    Yeah so been awhile since I have been on here. Been putting the bike back together and I cannot find the screws that hold the chin fairing on anywhere. Anyone know where i can get some, or if there is maybe a similar screw I can pick up at a hardware store? I dont have anything to go off...

    good news, they are very heavy duty. rode to wifes work last night, borrowed some allen wrench's to adjust them, accidently loosened to screw to much and the right mirror dropped on the ground! Not even a scratch on it! These things are very well made!

    no that wasnt to polish, that was to knock off any dirt and crud. The metal polish from eastwood.com is what put the shine to it, they were badly blued. My bike is an 2008. I would first use this pre-polish if your pipes are bad : Pre-Polish Prep Eastwood.com then I would follow that up...

    probably because I scrubbed them with a plastic scouring pad with Bar Keepers Friend cleaner on it before polishing them

    19mm = 7/8 bar end (what I believe all the buells are, someone correct me if I am wrong)

    I searched and searched looking for the right bar-end mirrors, settled on a decent pair from ebay then came across these. Just got them in and installed today. They are definitly great quality and worth every penny for looks and quality! first the old> the new> various shots>

    americansportbike.com I just ran it out behind my left footpeg where the fuel vapor line runs. You really arent going to get hardly any drip and it wont matter unless you are on a track

    no, I shined them right on the bike! They are pretty easy to get to (at least all the parts you can see anyways)

    I used bar keepers friend for the inicial wipe down. Then I used a metal polish from eastwood.com (eastwood has the best stuff in the world for restoring anything)

    I dont remember who had the idea to shine the headers but much props to them! My headers were looking pretty bad from the break-in period. It only took about 30 minutes and they look great!
