    This is kind of a big gamble. If I spends $5+ grand and haev it shipped, they could black flag the bike. Not sure if I could do it. Next, I don't think I could physically ride 6,000 miles in the 10? day limit that the state gives you to register it. Any other ways around this? Other than...

    So if I bought a 2007 cluster and the bike it came off of had 8k on it, would the gauge read 8000? Looks like these have digital gauges. I am told that if brought into the state and you bring it to the DMV without proper mileage that the vin will be black flagged and you cannot EVER register it.
