    Fuel maps

thanks for the info xopti, but I found the problem, somehow the timing maps didn't burn properly leaving everything after 4500 as 0's, fortunately I backed up my standard maps and it's all good to go again, I'll be attempting to reburn the maps once I get home.

    Fuel maps

yep copied the timing maps, didn't bother with a tps reset as my tsp is set up nicely, I think it was running lean with the previous map and the afv racked it up richer and now I've burned a richer map it's running super rich and just needs time to adjust itself or I need to adjust it/reset it.

    Fuel maps

Flashed the race map the other night and now my bike runs like crap(pulls stronger low down, but won't/splutters above 4.5k) before I revert to stock I was wondering if there's anything I missed out, all I done was flashed the fuel map after following the video in the how to section. Do I need...

    Chicken Strips!

I'm liking the penguin school, problem is i live in the UK, ill have to keep an eye out for something similar over here. Part of my worry is dropping my bike, i think if i had something cheap to practice on i could do it, think i might buy a VRF 400 just for learning on.

    Chicken Strips!

I've been riding 2 years now and so far im yet to get my knee down[down], its understandable as ive had a scooter and a supermoto, but now that i have a bike (XB9SX) where its plausible for me to get my knee down on I want to make it happen. Any advice will be greatly appreciated, this is the...

    countersteering

i got to put my 'swerve' technique into practice the other day when some prat cager pulled out on me on my way to work, i whipped cross 2 lanes (into on-coming) yet the guy continued to pull out like he never even noticed me, missed his bonnet by about 2ft then back into my lane.

Oil Light on. But ccrank oil level fine

Hey wait the oil light came on after you had stopped the engine? (if it did thats perfectly normal), when the oil light comes on whilst the engine is running is when you have a problem!

    "Buell-like in its appearance."

I just moved up from a 125, certainly wouldnt want to be going back anytime soon, they are fun for a while but then the shear lack of power sets in and they get really boring really quickly!

My invisible catch can/ breather setup

Thing is with that^^^^^^, cranks cases breathe in aswell as out, so theres a chance your engine will suck in crap off the road.

The 2011 Dakar rally and future Erik Buell offroader in the works?

Maybe they're trying to get themselves a big name by finishing the Dakar?, bit like what Honda did in the TT back in 1959.

    Headlight keeps blowing out

hmm sorry mate not sure then, maybe your voltage regulator rectifier is on its way out, i think they sit behind the front wheel on the XB's (metal box with loads of fins on it for cooling).

    Headlight keeps blowing out

are you touching the bulbs with your bare hands when fitting them? If you are, try fitting it without touching it, hold it in a clean cloth or tissue. Basicly everytime you turn the light on little tiny pieces of the filament detach from the filament due to the heat and when the bulb turns off...
