    Ignition coil resistance check.

You generally can't get accurate “Low Ohm Measurements” even with a good quality VOM. On the Primary Winding the only thing you can check with a VOM is continuity. Respectfully disagree, I have gotten very accurate measurement readings in individual coils on primary side, 0.5 ohms. Its easily...

    Ignition coil resistance check.

Ok Mr. Wasted-park, find a post that shows an internal wiring diagram of the ignition coil, tells you how to properly measure primary and secondary coil resistance, measure it in series or individual and spec for each coil. Also what those readings mean. Edit: This is gold, TSB also...

    Ignition coil resistance check.

Your post make sense after I figured out how one should measure a coil to properly diagnose its condition. Fluke 789 is fairly good quality meter that I feel confided in measuring deference between 0.5 ohms and 1.4. Bike had some sort of aftermarket wires that measure way under the book...

Thank you, some one who understands what they are looking at / dealing with, not simply regurgitating nonsense.

    Ignition coil resistance check.

Dual fire, that's why there are separate coils for each cylinder on primary / secondary side, and a separate timing table. Put down the pipe.

    Ignition coil resistance check.

Update to help the next guy. I received a new coil and spark plug wires, but new coil still measured same resistance. The picture in owners manual is somewhat confusing, if you use bottom portion as a reference guide then the reading you get are going to be double of what the spec is, just like...

    Ignition coil resistance check.

Chasing a hard start on 2004 XB. Measured primary and secondary side of the ignition coil. Measured 1.3 - 1.4 Ohm on primary and ~11,700 Ohms on the secondary. According to the manual both are way out of spec, primary should be 0.5 to 0.7 and secondary 5.5k and 7.5k. Kind of odd both sides are...

    Fu@#ing death wobble

You don’t even understand how front geometry effects stability. Stripping down you retarded way of communicating, here is what you telling everyone is bad information: 1 adjusting the front end makes no effect on how motorcycle handles. 2 1mm adjustments are too tame Also which one is it...

Don’t you have to make a post about cleaning battery terminals some place?

    Fu@#ing death wobble

.... again run the front of the bike all the way down, See how she does at 110 mph. Then raise it 2mm and come back here. Also I was the first one to post about geometry effecting bikes stability on here while you was rambling about it having no effect on our bikes. Quit with your bull, fake...

    Fu@#ing death wobble

Ok.... https://youtu.be/iWfw56XcBMw Go run forks all the way up and tell me how steady that bike is at110 mph. Then lower them back down 2mm. What a goof.

    Fu@#ing death wobble

I lowered the front of the bike to make wobble go away. Stopper rings were not visible before the adjustment.

More, I moved forks in 1mm increments. Edit. I was wrong, less fork sticking out the top.

    Main question

Again with trying to steer conversation off topic:black_eyed:. Cooter, people with IQ above potato can see straight through it.:eagerness::love_heart:

    Main question

It's ok to be confused little man, you have to crawl from up under the rock to learn new things. I'm sure your next post about cleaning battery terminals is right around the corner.

    Main question

Cooter, you sound like an engineer who has been proven wrong and just refuses to give up. Constantly making excuses for ****ty information, or lack of, and when cornered tries to play it off with a joke. Its ok to not know something and its ok to be wrong buddy.

What a sore looser. Guy is smoking you in your own game and that's the best you can do? He is right, you are great at embedding videos. Please do post a detailed tutorial.

    Main question

What a big circle jerk. Those who know a thimble full of information are too ignorant of the fact that their is an ocean full to draw from. Hiding behind horrible attitudes toward new comers who challenge their fragile little egos. The instant conversation turns to something more than cleaning...
