My 06 City X near Dallas

I’m with you on that. The city x with the narrow bars headlight grill and handguards is a sharp look! I did the same to my 06 SS.

do I have to buy a new front axle ?

I posted on here and badweb axel spacer dimensions so if not readily available we could have them made. When I have some time I will check to see if what I posted matches these. Should have all XB and blast dimensions on there. Thanks John for the official size for those.

    Race Buell Improvement Thread

Been watching this thread for a while now and looks like you’re having a great time. Yeah the power delivery isn’t like an inline 4 so keep it up and you’ll find the sweet spots. As for the dyno you’re probably close but you might be surprised and see a bit more.

For some unknown reason I can’t see the pictures and if you (motoguy) are going to part out that bike I am interested in some bits or I have a clean title frame for a regular XB I would part with.

    XB9S Motor Uses

You could ask Mike Lowery if you can get a little extra out of it. LOL Seriously Cooters suggestion is golden. Do a stock rebuild and if the head is damaged look at some of the performance rebuilders that specialize in these heads there’s some potential gains available without going down the...

    New Tires, New Bearings

Worst case I have run into a couple that even using the method Barrett suggested I couldn’t get it to budge. So cover the wheel with some fire blanket or similar and weld a washer or flat bar to the outer race, use the same flat face punch you tried with before and put it all the way through to...

    Welding machines

I have had good luck with the bigger industrial Lincoln machines but DC 600 machines are not very portable and my Ln 25 is huge to weld exhaust pipe with. Cooter what was the issue with the tig 200? Actually poor performance or just crap auto settings. I am shopping for a square wave and wanted...
