    07 Ulysses no start

This bike has been ridden daily up until this month when this started as it's my only vehicle. The tps reset was done via buelltooth and ecmdroid. The cps was diagnosed by the shop. Thanks again for all the insights, I know it sounds stupid basic but I'm about 3,000 miles from most of my tools...

    07 Ulysses no start

Thanks for the replys. I forgot to mention plugs, I just replaced with dcpr9 , which is what I was running before and ran fine. I can smell fuel and will get a shotgun volume backfire from exhaust after a handful of failed start attempts but the old plugs didn't look fouled. Haven't gotten any...

    07 Ulysses no start

Hi folks. Well my Ulysses got me across the country this summer with no real issues but lately I haven't been able to get it started. I've replaced the timing sensor, ignition switch, fuel pump rebuilt, and had my ecm reflashed by IDS. My exhaust valve was sticking open or shut so I replaced...

Thanks for the advice 34, my cel finally turned off and I am keeping an eye on it and inspecting it regularly. The bike is in the shop getting a new rear tire today!

    Xb12x cross country

Sorry for the delay folks. My trip was successful, ended up being about 4,850 miles with the route I took. My rear tire is toast, getting replaced this week here in Richmond Va, but didn't have any other issues other than a cel for my speed sensor which has decided to turn off thankfully. The...

Thanks Cooter! The pelican cases have been amazing. Wasn't sure about the side loading at first but it's easy once you get the hang of it. The Pantera is a family members that was kind enough to share his shop space with me for a couple weeks to prep for the trip. I have gotten a ride in it and...

    Xb12x cross country

Hey folks! I've been too busy riding to post but I've been taking pictures along the way. I left last Saturday and have ridden nearly 1300 miles to rural Colorado. It's been amazing and I'll do a full update soon. I have two questions: 1-What's the easiest way to post pictures on this thread...

    Xb12x cross country

Thanks Cooter! All great advice! Definitely taking my time, I have 24 days to complete my trip and have built in days off. I was concerned about the new bearings and belt at the same time but the belt didn't go on overly tight as some have described and I've followed the axle torque specs to a t.

Thanks Barrett, are all four fuse box relays the same? Going to grab some backups today. I'll be looking at auto parts stores if you happen to know a part number.

    Xb12x cross country

Hi folks. Thanks for all the great info so far from the forum! I'm headed out soon to ride from Northern California to Richmond Virginia on my 07 uly. Are there any Buell centric stops/resources along the way that are worth checking out? I'm interested in upgrading my exhaust or ecm/tune...

    2010 wheel bearing install

Barrett, thanks so much for the detailed reply! I searched for hours on this site and elsewhere and could find no mention of this final detail. The bearing on my old wheel had spun in the race due to wear. These wheels are expensive and more delicate than anything I've dealt with on my...

    2010 wheel bearing install

Hi, new here. I have a 2007 xb12x. Upgrading to a 2010 3 bearing wheel. My question is, does the second sprocket side bearing get seated all the way down to the inner bearing? Right now it's flush with the outside of the hub but there's room between the two bearings and I have no room for my...
