Realize Inc Motorcycle Rapid Prototyping, Stereolithography

Cool! Not sure I'm going to run out and make some parts, but I definitely heard about rapid prototyping when I was in college. I checked out the REALIZE INC website. Looks interesting. Realize INC Here's some more info about rapid prototyping on wikipedia Rapid Prototyping If I had to give...

    K&N Air Filter Cleaner

What's the best way to clean your K&N Air Filter? I know they are great for increased air flow but how much good do they do if you let them get too dirty? Does anyone replace their filter? Do you clean it? Do you use K&N Air Filter Cleaner?

    Buell XB12 Hot Hot

It was around 73 degrees Fahrenheit. I had the bike fully serviced about 5 months ago just before I parked it for the winter. Fully synthetic HD oil was used. The fan did work and it was on after I shut off the bike.

    Buell XB12 Hot Hot

Well, I replaced my battery and the XB12S started right up. Thank to all that helped me with that problem. Next potential problem. I rode the bike for the first time this spring. I filled up the gas (91 octane) and proceeded to ride home. The total travel time was roughly 1 hour. My ass was...

    Problems starting Buell XB12S Lightning

Does anyone know the exact specs for the battery I need to buy. My bike is in a warehouse that is an hour away and I'd like to buy a battery on the way. I'm pretty sure it's 12 volt, but that's all I remember.

    Problems starting Buell XB12S Lightning

Thanks for the tips! I'm guessing I need a new battery. Just because the lights come on, doesn't mean the battery can crank a 1200cc v-twin as you stated. I think the gas is good as the motorcycle was stored in a temperature controlled environment (70 degrees Fahrenheit) and about 70% full. I...

    Problems starting Buell XB12S Lightning

Well, I finally had some time and it was really nice out but my Lightning won't start. I just had it fully serviced before I parked it for the winter. New synthetic oil, new plugs and a TPS reset. It's been sitting with a gas tank 70% full of premium for 4 or 5 months. The battery was extremely...

    2008 Buell 1125R - First Ride

Less than a year has gone by since the introduction of the 2007 Buell models was held at the blast furnace otherwise known as Buttonwillow Raceway in Bakersfield, California. One of the highlights of that event was an eye-opening ride aboard the fire-breathing Buell XBRR race bike. As the...

Buell Storms The V-Twin Sportbike Market

Those of you who obsessively pore through all texts motorcycle-related (as I do) probably have a basic impression of Buell motorcycles even if you've never ridden one. Almost every Buell review praises these innovative American-built sportbikes for their light, precise handling, their ability to...

    2005 and 2006 Buell XB12S and XB12Scg for sale

These are some killer asking prices. It doesn't seem like you'd have much room to allow for negotiating unless the bikes are hot. That first Scg looks killer, only 180 miles??? Who would buy a bike just to sell it 180 miles later. If I didn't already have a nice Buell that XB12Scg would be SOLD...

    Ulysses Picture thread

Sweet buell! The black looks mean. I love black but I've always gone for bright colors for the safety factor. It looks sooo motocross. I'd like to get that thing air born! [up]

    2004 XB12 Plastic

I think the new buell XB12S comes in a translucent orange. They also have a translucent red. I heard that the plastic used to make the translucent plastic tends to fracture and crack after some weathering. I'm sure it looks super bad ass for awhile, but thousands of scratches later it might...

    Stats on Buell Lightning XB12?

It's my understanding that the Buell Long model is really nice. If your aren't taking your bike to the track and you just joy ride for fun the Long version would be the best. The handling is more predictable on the longs, but if you're good you can take turns faster on the regular framed Buells.
