    I forgot to ad that around 12,000 miles I had the rear cylinder base gasket leak. I pulled the motor and replaced all the top end gaskets. cylinders and pistons looked excellent feel free to make offers because I would like to get rid of this pretty quick

    Well it is running. turns out I had a couple of the cam sensor wired mixed up with the other sensor wires that is right above the pully by the starter. switched them around and it fired right up, 2 year old gas and everything. Thanks for the help nicholas900

    just realized I have the temp sensor unplugged so that doesn't tell me anything. the battery is brand new but I have been cranking it quite a bit. still spins it over fine

    just did the code test got 36 fan voltage 15 intake air temp sensor 16 battery voltage not sure if that tells us anything

    ok so the red wire going to the cam sensor has power with the key on. I used the black wire as the ground. I also pulled the cam sensor out and the rotor does spin when I crank it. is there a way to test the cam sensor? or cant you get it from auto zone, like for a mustang?

    I also just checked the 2 wires that are going from the voltage regulator to charge the battery. this should be dc power, I used my test light and when I crank it over neither wire lights up my test light. I bought the regulator used as well as the stator but they both supposedly came off...

    awesome thanks for the info. just checked fuses and all are good moved all the relays around and didn't make any difference checked the plug going to the coil, the center grey wire does have power when I turn the key. I checked the other 2 wires and neither of them have power when I crank it...

    I really don't see how something could fry just by the startor cranking it over. whats left to fry? the ecm? everything else works. fuel pump primes

    08 xb12r voltage regulator

    I bought this off ebay thinking it would fit my 05 but apparently they are different. this has 4 wires coming out of it. I believe this fits 08 to 10 xb's. $60 call or text me at 315 783 8754 since I don't get on here much pic of the plugs null
