'03 xb9r upper triple

I'd like to clarify the diameter of the upper triple clamp, is it 54mm for an '03 XB9R? Just measured my '03 Lightning fork just above the upper triple and got 54mm, so wondering if the R triple is the same diameter for that year? Gathering parts for the S to R front end conversion...anyone have an upper triple handy for the cause?
