04+ front belt cover ?

I'm in the process of updating my 03 xb9r to the 04+ belt system. Question is do I need a new front cover? Because I dont have one at the moment... And if so anyone got one to sell? Thanks!

I believe that you do. If memory serves me, the 03 is a smaller diameter pulley and cover. Our pulley cover fits them all (although it's certainly not equal price...)

Seeing as college takes most of my money I'd ideally like to find a cheap stock one But maybe we can make a deal on that sexy cover

yep. you need a new cover. and a huge effing socket to get that front pulley off. backwards threads IIRC. do you have a manual?
if you feel like DIYing it, you could bend some flat metal and use spacers to keep it far enough out.
spacing the holes properly might prove difficult. it was for me when i made one.
i reccomend making a few out of cardboard first.

eitherway, it will not match the sex that 50Doro products are made out of , but i'm guessing as a college man; you have plenty of that

I have a manual. I'm sure my friends and I will figure something out to try and get that main sprocket off. But so far pinwall looks to be my best bet. I just wanna get it before the weekend. It's been so long and I'm missing the awesome weather here in WI
