04 XB12R Cutting out

Hey everyone this is my first time posting on here, but my 04 XB12R is cutting out around 5,000rpm under a heavy load. I have the cable for ECM spy but i lost the program and you cant download it anymore. (so if anyone has that they could give me that would help to)

But to get to the point does anyone have any idea of something i could do to figure out why its cutting out? it acts like it needs fuel.

Try Buellmods.com - Downloads section for a copy of ECMSpy program. As far as why it's cutting out, does it act completely normal other than around the 5K rpm point?

yeah it seems to be pretty normal... maybe a little slower. do you know if they have two speed fuel pumps? and could the tp sensor needing to be reset cause that?

Not sure about the fuel pump. The manual does recommend occasional TPS resets so that couldn't hurt. How long since you checked your plugs?

i just replaced them and the wires to get rid of a miss... i just reset the tps today with ecmspy but i havnt got to ride it yet. but also when i was looking at it on ecmspy i dont have any dtc's but i it did have engine status blocks S10 S12 S13 lit up. and i could make the S15 block light up if i barley twisted the throttle, if anyone can help with that.

i got to go ride it today and now i have the opposite problem. it will barely pull itself from a stop and will die unless you ride the clutch and have it over 2000rpm... it does get up and go once it gets moving a little but its hard to get there.(at least in first i went on a short ride) i messed with the AFV on ECMspy, does anyone know how i can set the AFV right or if thats even the problem?
