hello everyone, new to the forum, hopefully you guys can give me some insight on my issue.
So i took my bike out over the weekend, rode for 1.5 miles and stopped at a light, then continued on my ride. about 100 yards after the light my bike started to surge, i would say by the feeling, and sound, that its running on one cylinder. the red light with the v-twin motor symbol then turned on (check engine?), then when i pulled over the bike died.

Today i changed out the plugs hoping that it was just a fowled plug but when i started it up again it did the same thing, i had to keep the throttle on or it would die. the red light came on and it sounded/ surged like it was running on one cylinder when i kept her running.

any advice/ anyone had this issue?

Start simple first. Do you have ECM SPY? Check the codes. If not you can do the jumper trick and count the red light. Surging and shutting off may be the Cam position sensor or something else. What code do you have?

Once you find the problem and fix it do a TPS reset there is tons of info on this site. Then do a AFV reset.

Here are some clues to help you.
