05 xb12r manual same as 04? or r there changes

i have a 04 xb12r and have recently noticed a rattling sound at abot 3 to 4 grand and once its good and warm starts bout 2500 someone told me it may be pinging and i should check my static timing so i figured it would be a good time to get a manual so can i use the pdf on here for the o5 firebolt or do i need to buy one for a 04 cuz there are some differences or somethin input would be awsome thanks guys

04-07 should be about the same

They are the same....... Unless you want to get super technical.... The fuel injection is different on early 2004....
But to help you out and steer you in the right direction, it is more then likely your primary chain making the noise. When it heats up it gets looser....

thats what i thought at first too but i checked it and it was within spec but it was cold and i didnt look for the myserious tight spot ether i just checked it where it was when i took the inspection cover off
........ so as long as im not lookin at the manual for the fuel inj. the 05 manual will be good
