People always use the shittiest pics of a bike when trying to sell. I look at that ad and the first thing I think is that up close it will be all scratched up and the left side probably has damage.

You guys need better eyes.... Could care less about the fact there are 4 pictures of one side... That's where a phone call comes in.... But more then likely this is a scam..

There are two big major red flags......
1) the price
2) it's in Texas and has a pizza box license plate...

Wow, i didnt even pay attention to that. Just saw it had a real phone number but if you plug that into good ole google, that phone number is for a fitness center. [sad]

It's not a scam, talked to the guy earlier.

Stop posting "deals" please. People need to find them on their own and it hurts your own bikes value by posting cheap ones.

UMD.... trust me there has been there has been hundreds of times I've yelled at the scene for you to stop posting too....

But...

Last time I checked...... This is a open buell forum..... And I'm a firm believer of free speech...

Telling people to not post Craigslist adds is asenine.... Who cares... Except you, do you really think that no one else on this fourm knows how to use craigslist tempest?

I'm thinking you might need to get off of your soapbox...

Also you might need to read my post again...

Yea, I'm not biting either. This is our community - if someone finds a great deal and doesn't want it for themselves I'm glad that they post it up for our community to benefit from the find. The seller has underpriced the part/bike already, what's the problem with notifying the community of a below market deal?

Plus, it's a CL ad.....once the bike sells, the historical record of the asking price is expired in a matter of weeks anyway. It may hurt the rebuilders, flippers, part out operations though......which gets me thinking ;)

My point, squid, is that good pics will make someone stop and look closer at the ad, bad pics might not generate enough interest for a phone call to be made.

Seems like it hurts your ability to scoop up cheap bikes, part them out and double your money, more than it hurts folks selling bikes.

Lol^ the site is called searchtempest.com

People who want deals should look for them. I'm not picking up a 2007 9sx lol I talked to the seller for someone local...

Whoever said I pick up bikes for just parts is the definition of why they made California emissions more stringent...
